Come tour the Valdosta State University Herbarium! You'll start out in class at the University Center to learn some of the background of this scientific archive of dried plant specimens documents the plants of the southeastern United States with special emphasis on the flora of southern Georgia. Supporting student learning, public outreach, and research, this museum collection has been an integral feature of VSU for more than 75 years. Then you'll make your way to the Herbarium for a tour. You may choose to walk to the Herbarium on Main Campus. Meet in the parking lot of the University Center to carpool to Bailey Science Center, Room 1040. You may also choose to drive yourself. We recommend parking in the Admissions Office parking lot across from Main Campus.
