The North Patterson Street Historic District showcases 14 “grand homes” on North Patterson Street in Valdosta. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984. The district is 8.3 acres and has 14 contributing buildings, all onestory or two-story residences, along 1003 to 1111 N. Patterson Street. A century ago, the mile long stretch was considered “Millionaire’s Row” and featured dozens of homes demolished in the 1950s-early 1970s. Location: Historic Courthouse, 100 E Central Ave, Valdosta.
