The First Amendment remains one of the most discussed parts of the U.S. Constitution. This presentation will explore the freedoms of religion, speech, the press, assembly, and petition, and how these protections apply to current issues and public debate in today’s America. Through historical context and contemporary examples, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the rights that continue to shape our civic life. Hybrid class: choice of Teams or inperson.
