Participants will test their knowledge of civics, and explore some of the Founding Fathers' concepts and their applications in the modern world, including: freedom vs. order; majority rule vs. minority rights; separation of powers; and the filibuster. Do our high school graduates understand how our government and politics work--if not, should they? How can we get this information to young adults? Politics will not be discussed. However, different perspectives may be touched upon.
