LIR Natural Bridge Battlefield Historic State Park & Battle Reenactment (Tallahassee, FL)

A significant battle took place on March 6, 1865 on the banks of the St. Marks River south of Tallahassee; the fight preserved Tallahassee’s status as the only southern capital east of the Mississippi not conquered by Union forces. A living history presentation/battle reenactment takes place each year on the first weekend in March. Entrance Fee: $5. Map sent with receipt. Those wishing to carpool/caravan should be at RCCE parking lot at 9:45 am for a 10 am departure (the building will not be open). Concessions will be available at the site.
