Stop telling yourself and everyone else that you can't draw! Drawing is about learning how to see. Pick up your pencil and get ready to learn the basics: shape, shading, form, light source, color, perspective, and composition. You'll practice both pencil and pen techniques and soon you'll find yourself saying, "I CAN draw!" (Supplies not included.)
Beginning and returning students are welcome. New projects and exercises will be included.
Instructor Ray Noll teachs art at Valdosta State University.
You will need:
- 9" X 12" or larger sketchbook
- Small set of colored pencils
- .07 mm lead pencil (BIC)
- 6B lead pencil (soft lead)
- Sharpie fine point pen
- Sharpener, eraser, and ruler or straight edge
