Couples Discount

Couples or any pairs of friends registering and paying together receive a discount. When registering as a couple, please choose the regular Registration Fee ($35) for yourself. Choose Couples - 2nd Person ($24) when registering your partner.

This class is limited to 12 participants.

Everyone has heard that you serve red wine with meat and white with fish, corks are better than screwtops, and the more wine costs, the better it is. Join us to find out what's true and what's not. Discover the basics of grape cultivation and how the type of grape, growing environment, weather, and many other factors influence the grapes. Learn the wine tasting ritual as you sample a variety of red and white wines. Class is limited to 12.

Please eat a meal no more than an hour before attending the class. Light refreshments are provided, but are intended to cleanse the palette between wines.

Instructor John Magnasco, retired VSU Professor of Communication Arts, has attended numerous wine institutes and programs in California, Virginia, Italy and Portugal and enjoys sharing his knowledge and love of wine.
