A discussion of the Francis Stewart Silver case that began in 1832 in what is now Mitchell County, North Carolina. Eighteen-year-old Francis "Frankie" Silver was accused of the murder and dismemberment of her husband Charles Silver in their remote cabin in the winter of 1832. The saga ends with Frankie being hung in Morganton, North Carolina in 1834. Presenter's great, great, great grandfather, Jackson, was the brother to Francis "Frankie" Silver.
